I, John, have been a huge fan of The Legend of Zelda series for years now, so when I heard about the new game, Tears of the Kingdom, for the Nintendo Switch, I was beyond excited! And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The new Ultrahand ability is a game-changer. I mean, who wouldn’t want to pick up and move any object in the game? My friend Jessica also got her hands on this game and she can’t stop raving about it. She loves using the Fuse ability to magically fuse objects to Link’s weapon or shield. Not only does it increase durability and damage, but it also adds new effects that can be quite hilarious at times. We’ve had so much fun experimenting with different combinations and seeing what kind of crazy results we can come up with.
Last but not least, my cousin Alex recently started playing The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom as well. And he’s obsessed with the Ascend ability. Being able to pass through solid objects above him has completely changed his exploration game. He’s found so many shortcuts by rising through ceilings and hillsides that were once seemingly impossible to get through.
